UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. -- MCA/Universal Home Video here will release the animated feature "Balto" direct to the sell-through market April 2 at a suggested retail price of $19.98. The nationally advertised availability date on the title will be April 5, while the retail availability date will be April 2. Order close date will be March 11. The studio will release a Spanish-dubbed version April 16, with an order close date of March 25. MCA/Universal also will release a new children's video series April 9 called "Earthworm Jim." There will be four tapes released at that time, each with two episodes, and each with a suggested retail price of $9.98. Order close date is March 25.
