"This consolidation brings together our two very strong companies and should make conducting business with Dae Julie much easier," said David E. Babiarz, Dae Julie's chairman.
The consolidation will not result in a work force reduction, Babiarz stated.
"In fact, Dae Julie plans to continue its explosive growth with the addition of a third manufacturing unit and by expanding our work force," Babiarz said.
Dae Julie, founded in 1963, is a confectionery manufacturer whose product focus is on starch-molded products and imported candies.
