NEW ORLEANS -- As if the distractions of Bourbon Street and pre-Mardi Gras weren't enough, last month's FMI MarketTechnics show also featured a visit by President Clinton. Clinton spoke at the Ernest Morial Convention Center, the same venue where MarketTechnics was held, at an event sponsored by Oracle. Amid the hubbub, the more than 5,000 MarketTechnics attendees were treated to a virtual whirlwind of the latest food industry technology around.
