SEATTLE -- Brand names are big in the food-service areas at Quality Food Centers' newest store here.

The 66,000-square-foot unit that opened in University Village is packed with concepts that mix the chain's own proprietary food-service names with outside brands well known either in the Northwest or nationally.

The naming of names starts right away, with a Starbuck's coffee bar and a Cinnabon bakery flanking the two corner entrance doors at the northwest corner of the store.
