Heluva Adds Cheese-Salsa Dip
od Cheese Co. has introduced a new combination cheese and salsa dip for the dairy case. The dip comes in a 12-ounce cup and can be served cold or hot. The Heluva Good brand also markets a line of products called "Thick and Chunky" salsas. Other items in its product line include aged cheeses, sour cream-based dips, cold pack cheese foods, sour cream, horseradish, Mexican foods and condiments. The company markets its products in 26 states.
Lehigh Is Combining Its Brands
LANSDALE, Pa. -- Lehigh Valley Dairies is combining several of its regional brands under one label and adding several new products to its line. Products sold under the Abbotts, Johanna Farms, Freeman's and Lehigh Valley Farms brands will all now be marketed under the Lehigh Valley Dairies name.
In addition to the name change, the packaging will also bear a new logo featuring a blazing orange sun rising over red mountain tops.
New items include protein fortified lowfat and skim milk under the Mighty Milk, Mighty Lite, Mighty Choc-Lite and Mighty Lac (a lactose-reduced milk) names. Lehigh Valley Dairies distributes its products throughout the Mid-Atlantic states. It is backing the introduction of the new label and new products with a multimedia advertising campaign.
Ardmore Adds Fruit Juice Items
CHICAGO -- Ardmore Farms, a division of Quaker Oats Co. here, has introduced a new premium grapefruit juice and a 100% pure orange juice with extra pulp. Both are refrigerated, not-from-concentrate products and have a 65-day shelf life. They are available in 64-ounce cartons.
