Adding to the list of hybrid bakery items, two ShopRite stores have come up with the Donnoli, a cross between a doughnut and a cannoli.
Made fresh at ShopRite of Nutley and ShopRite of Belleville, the Donnoli is a doughnut stuffed with cannoli filling.
“Stuffed to capacity and topped with chocolate, these new sweets are flying off the shelves!” ShopRite said on its website.
