Beverage companies are hoping to parlay the success of at-home coffee brewing to carbonated soft drinks. So far, Israel-based SodaStream, which sells drink-making devices in more than 60,000 retail stores in 45 countries, has experienced lackluster sales in the domestic arena and is currently only in select U.S. supermarkets.
