Private-Label Beer on Tap at Hy-Vee

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Hy-Vee Food Stores has introduced Baraboo, a line of private-label craft beer.

The brand comes in three types: Red Granite Lager, Lumberjack IPA and Woodpecker Wheat.

The retailer announced the launch on its Facebook page yesterday. Facebook followers posted several questions, including what company is brewing it and if it will be sampled in store. But the retailer revealed few additional details, except to say the beer is brewed in Stevens Point, Wis.

“More info soon. Stay tuned,” Hy-Vee wrote on its Facebook wall.
