The store’s News Agency, which draws inspiration from a classic New York City news stand, opens 30 minutes prior to the rest of the store to cater to busy commuters who stop in for a quick breakfast bite.

Toast of the town
The bakery department offers fancy toast such as avocado, almond butter and jam, stone ground mustard and mixed greens, and ricotta, berries and locally sourced Mike’s Hot Honey.
Wicked Twisted Pretzels are among the bakery offerings. The hand-twisted pretzels are shaped like a classic pretzel and also feature an NY design and apple shape.
New York Strip
The butcher department featured store opening specials such as New York Strip Steak for $10.99 per pound, a $7 savings.
The sections design reflects that of classic New York butcher shops.
Local meats like pork belly from Rodman, N.Y., and lamb steak from Elba, N.Y., are highlighted with shelf tags.
