Rite Aid Distributes Wholesome Goodness

CHICAGO — Wholesome Goodness, a natural food line that launched as part of an exclusive distribution deal with Wal-Mart Canada in 2010 and rolled out to 200 U.S. supercenters earlier this year, is now available at Rite Aid stores nationwide.

Wholesome Goodness recipes are designed to be as nutritionally dense as possible, according to its creators, which avoided 126 ingredients that are commonly used by other food companies including artificial additives, sweeteners, colorings and preservatives.

The 56-SKUs available in the U.S. across 14 categories include Multigrain & Flax Tortilla Chips, Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats, Pineapple Salsa and Sour Lemon Raisins. A website dedicated to Wholesome Goodness can be found at www.wholesome-goodness.com.
