Coborn’s, Inc. said it has promoted Becky Estby to SVP, human resources and organizational development, and Lisa Ellis to VP of real estate.
Estby has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and has been with Coborn’s since 2011. She and her team have developed an organization structure, recruiting and retention, and compensation strategy to support the company’s five new grocery stores in the Bakken region, which has the nation’s lowest unemployment rate of just 1.5%.
Estby led her team to develop a new companywide compensation structure and bonus programs; a retail training and development program; and last spring completed nationwide executive searches for three new Coborn's executives.
Ellis joined Coborn’s last year from Target Corp. She has experience in new construction, remodeling, property management and acquisitions, Coborn’s said.
Coborn's, based in St. Cloud, Minn., operates 54 stores in the Upper Midwest states.
