Hy-Vee Staffer Creates Rose Parade Floats

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Laurel Hollopeter, floral manager at the Iowa City Hy-Vee on South First Avenue, traveled to Pasadena, Calif., this week to design floats for yesterday’s Rose Bowl Parade.

Hollopeter helped Fiesta Parade Floats, a company that created 13 floats for the event, which preceded the New Year's Day game between Michigan State and Stanford.
