SALT LAKE CITY — Harmons has installed “healthy checkout lanes” at all 16 store locations, according to its Facebook page.
These lanes replace candy with alternatives like fruit.
“You can go through this checkout lane and purchase guilt-free snacks hand-picked by our dietitians,” Harmons said on its Facebook page.
Criteria for items in the healthy lanes include less than 10% of calories from saturated fat, no trans fats, and less than 250mg of sodium, according to an in-store sign.
