North Carolina Health Plan Stops Sponsoring Retail Flu Shots

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is again promoting free flu shots for its members, but this year’s message conveys a blow to retailers: Get a flu shot at your doctor’s office.

"By then, half of the patients had gone everywhere else, and we were left holding 450 doses."
