COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Grocers Association here said it will present its annual Pinnacle Awards to Acme Fresh Markets, a 17-store operation based in Akron, Ohio, in the multi-store category and Schild's IGA Supercenter, Norwalk, Ohio, in the single-store category in recognition of the excellence of their overall operations.
The awards are scheduled to be presented April 24 at the association’s ninth annual trade relations gala at the Greater Columbus Convention Center — an event the association said is likely to attract approximately 400 industry executives.
