Bashas’, Clinic Operator Sign Long-Term Contract

Bashas’ has signed a long-term contract with MediMin, Avondale, Ariz., which will open retail health care clinics in its stores, including the Bashas’, Food City and Ike’s Marketplace banners.

CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas’ here has signed a long-term contract with MediMin, Avondale, Ariz., which will open retail health care clinics in its stores, including the Bashas’, Food City and Ike’s Marketplace banners. MediMin clinics are staffed with certified nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants with physician oversight. MediMin is also partnering with selected health care systems to operate the clinics to increase their outreach to patients throughout the state. “This is an exciting opportunity to advance the evolving retail health care market,” said Rob Tofil, president of MediMin. “By partnering with Bashas’ and local hospitals, we can more effectively provide health care to not only the uninsured but also provide a convenient access point for the thousands of people trying to get medical care. This is a great way to better serve our community.”
