CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas' here has initiated a senior discount day on the first Wednesday of every month at its Bashas'-banner stores to customers aged 55 and older, according to locally published reports.
The discount amounts to 10% off for seniors who make a purchase of $15 or more, with the discount applied automatically at the checkstand when customers use the chain's Thank You loyalty card.
Items excluded from the discounts include prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, postage stamps, gift cards and fuel.
