WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Following up on the success of its "Million Tenderloins" promotion in January, Hy-Vee has partnered with Tyson Foods on a campaign to sell 1 million boneless chicken strips during the month of May.
If Hy-Vee reaches its goal of selling a million chicken strips in the next month, Tyson will donate a truckload of chicken to a local food bank. "That's 35,000 pounds of chicken, or enough to provide 140,000 meals to those in need right here in the Midwest," according to Hy-Vee.
Throughout this month, Hy-Vee will offer a variety of specials featuring boneless chicken strips.
"Take advantage of this opportunity to save on great Tyson chicken products and help Hy-Vee and Tyson in the fight against hunger," Hy-Vee stated in promotional materials.
