EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Following the first reported local flu-related death in 2008, as well as new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations on flu vaccinations for all children, 20 Minnesota Cub Food locations, owned by Supervalu here, have partnered with Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency to add public flu shot clinics for those ages 5 years and older and at MVNA’s Minneapolis headquarters for ages 6 months and older. As a result of a donation from Cub Pharmacy, individuals without an approved health insurance plan may receive a flu shot at the reduced rate of $14, according to MVNA. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.
