BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Southern Family Markets, operator of the Bruno's and Food World banners, based here, said Thursday that some of its Alabama stores were damaged by the tornadoes in the area on Wednesday.
"While some of our stores in the Birmingham, Cullman and Tuscaloosa area have sustained damages, we will continue to remain open while making repairs," he company said in a prepared statement. "As always, our No. 1 priority continues to be providing the best service possible to our customers."
