PLEASANTON, Calif. — Safeway has launched "Hoppin' Daily Deals," an Easter promotion offering a different daily special on an item for a holiday meal.
An 8-pound bag of Safeway navel oranges for $1.99 is Thursday's special; while Friday's is a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi or 7-Up, 69 cents.
"An amazing price on one great product each day – items like meat, beverages, and baking needs," according to the Safeway blog. "Look for them in the ad or when you shop so you can take advantage of these valuable offers for your Easter celebration."
The promotion launched Wednesday and runs through April 24
