MATTHEWS, N.C. — Family Dollar Stores here on Wednesday said it has named Scott Zucker vice president of information technology solutions delivery, reporting to Josh Jewett, senior vice president of IT and chief information officer at the 6,700-store chain.
Zucker joined Family Dollar in 2006 as divisional vice president of pricing and most recently was vice president of merchandise operations. Before joining Family Dollar, he was a retail consultant at BearingPoint, and before that he was a buyer with department store operator Belk Inc.
“Scott brings extensive experience in leading interdepartmental teams through his work with merchandising, supply chain and store operations,” said Jewett. “His unique blend of business and technology experience will continue to be an asset in his new role.”
