SAN ANTONIO — H.E. Butt Grocery has launched "31 Days to a Healthier Family," a month-long event that encourages families to engage in physical activities together.
H-E-B provides a printable calendar that includes activity ideas, like playing duck-duck goose, dancing to music and flying like a bird. Participants fill in which activity they did each of the 31 days in January.
The calendar can be downloaded from H-E-B's website. All those who fill out the calendar, and email or snail mail a copy to H-E-B by Feb. 18 are automatically entered in to a sweepstakes to win a PlayStation Move Bundle.
"A family that plays together gets to enjoy more alertness, less stress, better sleep and better self esteem," H-E-B states in promotional materials.
