EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here has launched EatWell, a line of 17 new, healthy ready-to-eat prepared meals and sides.
The lineup, which was introduced to shoppers Tuesday, includes salads, soups, noodle dishes, entrees and other options, with most items retailing for $3.99, a Fresh & Easy spokesman confirmed to SN.
All of the EatWell items were designed to contain fewer than 500 calories, and less than 25% of the U.S. recommended daily allowance for fat and sodium, based on a 2,000 calorie diet.
