PITTSBURGH – For a limited time, Giant Eagle is offering 20 cents off per gallon of fuel for every $50 spent on gift cards.
“Give them as gifts or use them as cash this holiday season and save big at the pump,” Giant Eagle writes in promotional materials.
The offer is valid on cards purchased either in-store or online. Giant Eagle offers gift cards for more than 140 retailers, including Best Buy, JC Penney and Sears.
The retailer is also offering a bonus 25 cents off per gallon of fuel with the purchase of the DVD “The Search for Santa Paws.”
The one-week offer starts Nov. 23 and runs through Dec. 1.
Both promotions are a supplement to Giant Eagle’s Fuelperks!, a loyalty program that lets customers earn discounts on gas. For every $50 spent in Giant Eagle stores with a loyalty card, customers earn “fuelperks,” or discounts on fuel at Giant Eagle GetGo gas stations.
