COLORADO SPRINGS — GMDC’s board of directors, in conjunction with the organization’s Education Leadership Council, has honored GMDC's recently deceased long-time director of communications Doug Blough, by naming each of the association's two annual golf tournaments after him. The GMDC Golf Classic-Doug Blough Memorial Tournament will be held at association’s spring General Merchandise Marketing Conference and fall Health Beauty Wellness Marketing Conference. Last year, GMDC adopted the formal name of Global Market Development Center.
