EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — A new line of handcrafted frozen pizzas from Italy is available at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market. Sold under its Gourmet private label, the pizzas retail for $3.99.
“We’re always working to find interesting, unique and delicious products to bring to our customers,” said John Burry, Fresh & Easy’s chief commercial officer, in a prepared statement.
Varieties include Four Cheese made with mozzarella, edamer, emmanathal and gran Moravia cheese and Italian balsamic vinegar from Modena; Pesto and Arugula with pesto made from a combination of basil, crushed garlic, grated hard cheese, and pine nuts with a little olive oil — all from Italy; and Margherita made with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil.
