SAN ANTONIO — It’s all about Texas at H.E. Butt Grocery Co. for the next week, as the retailer hosts its second annual “TexFest.”
During the promotion, H-E-B will showcase, sample and discount foods and beverages made in Texas. A variety of items will be offered as “buy one, get one free.”
“It's an event as big as the Lone Star State,” H-E-B states on its website.
The entire store is part of the event, including H-E-B private labels. Among the store brands to be sampled: H-E-B Fully Cooked Shredded BBQ; H-E-B "That Green Sauce" Jalapeno Sauce; and H-E-B Texas Dippers Corn Chips.
The promotion runs through March 13. It launched on Feb. 29.
