Judge Adjourns A&P Store Dispute

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — The judge in A&P’s bankruptcy case said Thursday that he was inclined to allow A&P to build a new store at a Bedminster, N.J., site despite reservations from the site’s landlord, but officially adjourned the matter until another hearing Nov. 14.

Judge Robert B. Drain said he would review testimony from A&P and landlord Partners Development, and encouraged the parties in the meantime
