GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meijer Naturals, a new store-brand line of products that are free of artificial ingredients and additives, GMOs, high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils and trans fat, will hit Meijer’s shelves Monday.
Priced 10% to 15% below national-brand equivalents, the line comprising 75 items will complement the Meijer Organics brand. Meijer Naturals products will include Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix, White Cheddar Popcorn, Multi-Grain Crackers, and Corn and Bean Mild Salsa.
“Meijer Naturals is a natural fit for us, and a great fit for those who lead a smart and active lifestyle where healthy living and eating are paramount,” said Ralph Fischer, group vice president of foods at Meijer, in a statement. “This is an exciting brand that we feel today’s shopper will embrace given that it’s delicious, wholesome and a great value.”
