Mollie Stone’s Launches Fund-Raiser Card

MILL VALLEY, Calif. — Mollie Stone’s Markets, an eight-store grocer here,  is launching a Community Card on Feb. 1 that will enable customers to automatically contribute up to 5% of purchases to the schools and non-profits of their choice.

The Mollie Stone’s Community Card is a continuation of a longtime partnership with eScrip (Electronic Scrip) through which the retailer has given back over $1.5 million to local communities.

After picking up a Community Card at any of the nine Bay Area locations, Mollie Stone’s customers can designate up to three schools or non-profits. Customers will also be able to update preferences and track contributions from their purchases online, as well as find an organization among the long and ever-growing list of participating non-profits and schools.

“At Mollie Stone’s, we value the customer #1. You are family to us. And we also believe in community, that’s why we are happy to partner with eScrip and offer you this program that makes our community stronger,” said David Bennett, co-founder of Mollie Stone’s, in a statement.
