MINNEAPOLIS — Nash Finch Co. here said Thursday that Christopher A. Brown has been named president and chief operating officer of Nash Finch Wholesale, a new position.
He will remain an executive vice president of the company and continue to report to Alec C. Covington, president and CEO of Nash Finch. In the new role Brown will be responsible for all aspects of the company's wholesale business as well as its conventional corporate-owned stores.
In a related move Dan M. Davidson has been promoted to vice president, distribution, reporting to Brown, with oversight of food distribution warehouse operations and transportation. Davidson previously held the title of vice president, transportation and logistics in the company's supply-chain department.
