SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets has kicked off the grilling season with a singing contest.
Five winners will star in a Price Chopper “House of BBQ” television commercial, plus get a chance to win a gas grill, grilling tools and $500 in Price Chopper gift cards to host their own House of BBQ backyard bash. One winner will also get a “Chopper” attendant to assist with their party, plus get a live performance by House of BBQ musician Melvin Sparks.
To enter, they need to record a video of themselves singing the “House of BBQ,” a Price Chopper theme song about the grilling season. For those that don’t have access to a video camera, Price Chopper will visit select stores on Saturday, June 13 to film performances.
