PLEASANTON, Calif. — “Get Out & Grill” is the name of a private-label-themed contest at Safeway. Shoppers who buy two packages of Rancher’s Reserve beef in a single transaction through June 10 are automatically entered into a sweepstakes to win a grand prize of a backyard entertainment center, complete with outdoor kitchen that includes a refrigerator and pizza oven; and a movie theatre that includes a screen and projector. Other prizes include a Weber grill with a Rancher’s reserve grill cover, along with an outdoor movie screen and projector. The contest is part of a larger “Get Out & Grill” promotion that includes weekly grilling menu ideas online and in in-store recipe booklets.
