Klein's ShopRite has come to an agreement with city officials on plans to build a 68,000-square-foot supermarket in the Howard Park neighborhood.

BALTIMORE — Klein's ShopRite has come to an agreement with city officials here on plans to build a 68,000-square-foot supermarket in the Howard Park neighborhood.

The $13.5 million project will be built at the site of a long-shuttered Super Pride grocery store, according to the Baltimore mayor's office. A deal between Klein's and the Baltimore Development Corp. arranged for the city-owned land to be transferred to Klein's for $2 million.
