LOS ANGELES — Smart and Final here, which operates nearly 250 stores, has chosen Supply Chain Guru from LLamasoft to help design and optimize its supply chain.
Supply Chain Guru is a supply chain design and predictive analytics application that enables companies to model, optimize and simulate their supply chain operations, aiming to improve costs, service, sustainability and risk mitigation.
“Smart & Final offers thousands of items, which originate from hundreds or thousands of food manufacturers and farms,” said Scott Swanson Sr., logistics engineering manager at Smart & Final, in a statement. “Supply Chain Guru allows us to model our complex supply chain so that we can analyze it and make better business decisions about it.”
