STELLARTON, Nova Scotia — Sobeys here and Bank of Montreal on Thursday said they have introduced a new credit card offering users accelerated Club Sobeys points redeemable for rewards and discounts at Sobeys stores.
The Club Sobeys MasterCard offers customers two points for every dollar spent at Sobeys stores and one point for purchases elsewhere. To launch the new program customers who sign up will receive a 1,375-point welcome bonus. Shoppers who use the card at Sobeys before Dec. 31 will be eligible for one of 25 prizes of $1,000 off their credit card statement.
