SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Jack Brown, chairman and chief executive officer of Stater Bros. Markets here, has been honored by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society for his years of contributions.
The award reads: “You are a true American dedicated to promoting and perpetuating the principles upon which our nation was founded: courage, sacrifice and selfless service.”
The Congressional Medal of Honor Society is comprised of only those Americans who have received the nation's highest award for heroism under fire. Brown was presented with the award from five Medal of Honor recipients.
