GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bi-Lo Holdings opened its first Super Bi-Lo store in North Carolina Wednesday. The 58,000-square-foot Super Bi-Lo in Matthews, N.C., represents an investment of around $13 million and is around 20,000 square feet larger than Bi-Lo’s current four stores in the Charlotte market. The new store features expanded departments designed to create a “one-stop” shop. Bi-Lo has rolled out 16 Super Bi-Lo stores since introducing the concept in South Carolina three years ago.
