Tesco Selects Workforce Management System

Tesco will implement the Workforce Management system from RedPrairie, Waukesha, Wis., in order to align customer traffic with employee scheduling.

LONDON — Tesco here will implement the Workforce Management system from RedPrairie, Waukesha, Wis., in order to align customer traffic with employee scheduling. The system will be used to manage 350,000 employees at Tesco’s stores in 13 countries, including its Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market stores in the U.S. “We selected RedPrairie because they provide the best scheduling solution that can operate across Tesco’s different formats,” said Dave Briggs, program manager for Tesco, in a statement. “By helping ensure that we always have people on hand to assist shoppers, it supports our constant effort to improve customer experience. Ultimately, it will improve our business by increasing store productivity, and supporting revenue growth.”
