The United Fresh Produce Association yesterday launched “Fresh Facts on Retail,” a quarterly research report offering industry members benchmarks and information on retail sales trends for the top 10 fruit and vegetable commodities and value added items, as well as notes on emerging market opportunities, such as prepared foods and organic produce.

WASHINGTON — The United Fresh Produce Association yesterday launched “Fresh Facts on Retail,” a quarterly research report offering industry members benchmarks and information on retail sales trends for the top 10 fruit and vegetable commodities and value added items, as well as notes on emerging market opportunities, such as prepared foods and organic produce. Sponsored by Del Monte Fresh Produce, the new reports are produced in partnership with research consultancy The Perishables Group.
