KEASBEY, N.J. — Wakefern Food Corp. here is incorporating just-introduced health-and-wellness widgets — plug-and-play mini-apps for websites — from Aisle7, Portland, Ore., as part of its LiveRight with ShopRite program.

The widgets inform shoppers of the latest health recommendations, provide shopping ideas, and recommend products for health and wellness goals.

"As part of our LiveRight with ShopRite program, we have partnered with Aisle7 to deliver relevant and credible health & wellness content and health widgets for our shoprite.com customers," said Cheryl Williams, vice president, marketing, Wakefern, in a statement. "This helps our customers make informed decisions about health and wellness choices for their lifestyle, and provides our customers with a valuable service."

Aisle7 said it has over a dozen new widgets available on health-related topics that span the major supermarket and health food store product categories. Retailers can browse Aisle7's Widget Gallery, select the widget they'd like to use to support their marketing program, and place it on their site.
