ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets here is selling a customized line of classic toys from Holgate, Bradford, Pa., in its Nature’s Marketplace departments and general merchandise aisles for the holiday season. The line consists of seven items that range in retail price from $9.99 to $19.99.
In her online column, Mary Ellen Burris, senior vice president of consumer affairs, discussed the toys that include a Wegmans Organic Farm Shape Sorter, buses and farm trucks. “It seems the company has thought of everything: Their products meet or exceed all toy-testing standards, are labeled for appropriate age, are made from hardwoods, non-toxic, even guaranteed for life!” she stated.
