ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans Food Markets has made it a point to source Kosher for Passover options that are also gluten free.
“For the last five months category merchant Ellen Campbell has been working to select Kosher-for-Passover items,” said Trish Kazacos, a registered dietitian at Wegmans, in a recent blog post. “Ellen has always strived to source products that are considered to be best in class. This year she raised the bar by bringing in as many certified gluten-free, Kosher-for-Passover products as possible.”
Available for Passover are Lilly’s Rainbow cookies, Lilly’s Apricot Roll and Yehuda Matzo-Style Squares.
Gluten-free recipes for Roasted Sole, Potato and Fennel Casseroles and Savory Matzo Brei with Nova were also incorporated into this year's Passover Easy Meal Ideas 2013 brochure available at Wegmans' Kosher Deli and Catering departments.
