ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Wegmans will celebrate Mother’s Day by offering mothers a day of beauty at skincare departments at four locations: Pittsford and Dewitt, N.Y.; Fairfax, Va. and Allentown, Pa., on May 9.
The reservation-only event will take place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. EST.
Mothers will be treated to a mini-facial followed by a makeup application courtesy of the staff in the skincare department, all of whom are licensed cosmetologists or estheticians, according to a local report in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Wegmans declined to comment on the event, but its website posted information that L’Oreal products will be sampled, including L'Oreal Revitalift and Bare Naturale cosmetics, with a mini-facial and makeup application. The event will also feature Regenerist skincare products and offer free Bare Naturale mascaras.
Coupons will be given out as well as a chance to win prizes—like L’Oreal Golden Globes compacts.
