Meijer Find-It, built by Point Inside, works with maps of the chain’s Knapps Corner, Cascade, Grandville, Clyde Park Ave. and Gaines Township supercenters.

The free app is compatible with iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Android devices, which pinpoint current location through a combination of GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular towers. The app also provides udpdated information about weekly specials and promotions, with the ability to instantly locate sales items.

“Meijer is always looking for ways to improve our customers’ shopping experience,” said Elizabeth Wilson, online/mobile marketing specialist for Meijer, in a statement. “So we are truly excited to introduce technology that not only continues our company’s tradition of innovation, but helps make shopping more convenient and fun for our customers.”
