MISSISSAUGUA, Ontario — Wal-Mart Canada here said Monday that 80 of its 526 stores in Canada will be open 24 hours a day between Dec. 1 and Dec. 24. The holiday schedule includes more stores and a longer period than last year, when 59 Wal-Mart locations opened 24 hours from Dec. 18-24, the company said. Wal-Mart operates one location in Canada that is open 24 hours year-round. The company has also tested 24-hour store schedules during the back-to-school period.
