Wegmans Food Markets will be rolling out digital coupons for its Shoppers Club loyalty members this year, the retailer said.
The program will debut in the retailer's stores in the Rochester, N.Y., and Lehigh Valley, Pa., markets next month, according to a report in the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper.
The retailer said it intends to roll the program throughout its footprint this year. Shoppers can receive the coupons by logging in to their account at wegmans.com or on the retailer's mobile app, then downloading offers from a "my coupons" link. Registrants will receive $15 in coupons when they log in, Wegmans said.
Wegmans tested the concept with its employees last year, the Democrat & Chronicle reported.
Rochester, N.Y.-based Wegmans operates 88 stores. Its newest location is scheduled to open in Midlothian, Va., May 22.
