Diners look cross-channel for prepared foods

Prepared foods are a staple for many shoppers, and they are purchasing them at different types of retailers, according to the most recent “The Why? Behind the Buy” report by Acosta Sales & Marketing.

The report found that 77% of shoppers ate food out of the house within the last month, 66% brought prepared foods home, 65% purchased food from a drive-through and 64% picked up food from a restaurant.
