Fresh Market to Open Cafe in Science Museum

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Fresh Market will open its first Fresh Market Café at the Greensboro Science Center and donate all profits to the museum.

Menu items at the cafe will include sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fresh fruit and all-beef hot dogs. Large groups can pre-order via the Science Center’s website.

“At the core of our company’s concept is our philosophy of ‘neighbors serving neighbors,’ and as part of our commitment to being an active part of the communities where we do business, we are pleased to announce that we will donate 100% of the profits of the Café back to the Science Center,” Craig Carlock, president and CEO of The Fresh Market, said in a statement. “We see this partnership as an opportunity for us to engage in a unique way with our local community and we look forward to providing the Center’s visitors with delicious food paired with a way to support this Greensboro institution.”

The cafe is slated to open later this spring.
